- Increase the data center to computer imaging room bandwidth from 2G to 20G.
Design Highlights
- Dual 10G SFP+ Uplinks over OM4 multi-mode fiber
- Cabling run neatly in the ceiling inside abrasion resistant plastic shielding
- Sngle imaging switch replaced with 2 newer model switches for greater port density
Outcome
Imaging operations can be completed more quickly due to improved bandwidth. Implementation of 2 switches instead of only 1 allows for greater freedom to work in multiple locations within the imaging room.
